Applications are invited from
Honours graduates in any discipline for a PG Certificate Course in Editing and
Publishing to be conducted by the School of Cultural Texts and Records,
Jadavpur University, from February- April 2015. Classes will normally be held
four days a week from 6-8 p.m. Applicants have to appear for a screening test
on 30 January 2015 (Friday), at 6 p.m., to be held on the first floor of the
UG Arts Building.
Course fee: Rs 8,500, to be paid on
the day of admission, by cheque or demand draft payable in Kolkata,
made out to "The Registrar, Jadavpur University’.
Applications may be made on plain

applications should be submitted to the School of Cultural Texts and Records (5th
floor, Rabindra Bhaban, JU) between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. on working days.

design; business plan analysis; e-publishing; marketing; publicity; distribution;
press visits; live projects.

EditPub Admission Test Postponed
The admission test
for the PG Certificate Course in Editing and Publishing is postponed
due to certain official delays at the university.
Meanwhile, anyone
wishing to apply for the course (honours graduates in any discipline)
can send a brief cv and a cover letter expressing their willingness
to join the course to jueditpub[AT]gmail[DOT]com by the midnight of
December 26, 2014 (Friday). Those who've applied earlier, needn't
apply again.
The revised date for
the admission test (tentatively in early January 2015) will be
announced on this blog, as well as appear on the university's
website: http://www.jaduniv.edu.in/htdocs/newindex.htm
