For my class on Tuesday, 15 January 2013, please try to bring at least two books - one work of fiction and one textbook, preferably one that deals with economics, the sciences, or technology-related issues.

Announcement

Current students, alumni and lecturers are requested to post questions, suggestions and comments about the course. Since the course is somewhat flexible, we can incorporate suggestions and make them part of the later portion of the course, or keep them in mind for the next edition.
