The postponed admission test to the 'PG Certificate Course in Editing and Publishing' at the School of Cultural Texts and Records, Jadavpur University, will be held on Monday 23 December 2019 from 6-7 pm, in the Department of English, Jadavpur University (First floor, UG Arts Building).

NOTICE FOR THE 17TH EDITING AND PUBLISHING COURSE


Applications are invited from Honours graduates in any discipline for a PG Certificate Course in Editing and Publishing to be conducted by the School of Cultural Texts & Records, Jadavpur University, from 7 January to 16 April 2020. Classes will normally be held three days a week from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. (Tue, Wed, Thu). Applicants have to appear for a screening test on 19 December 2019 (Thursday), at 6:00 p.m., which will be held on the first floor of the UG Arts Building.

Course fee: 10,000/-.

Applications may be made on plain paper or by email to jueditpub@gmail.com. Paper applications should be submitted to the School of Cultural Texts & Records (5th Floor, Rabindra Bhaban, Jadavpur University) between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on working days.

JU Editing and Publishing Course 2019 - Class Project

The “auction” of the companies will be conducted by Somnath Basu on Tuesday, 19 February 2018, at 6 p.m. Late-comers will have to make do with what is left at the time of their arrival.

In order to avoid confusion, a Google Document has been created where students are expected to list the members of each group formed. Please note that a group should have at least three and at most five people (ignore the brief which says that groups of two are allowed). Unless specified, most EditPub classes will take place in the classrooms of the School of Cultural Texts and Records. These rooms are located on the top floor of the Rabindra Bhavan building (next to Darshan Bhavan), five minutes' walk from Gate No. 5 (see below)
