Admission to the course will take place on Thursday, 4 January 2018 from 5:30 pm in the classroom of the School of Cultural Texts and Records (see below). The course fee of Rs 10,000 is to be paid preferably on the same day or by Monday 8 January.  The fee may be paid through cheque or demand draft payable in Kolkata, made out to the ‘The Registrar, Jadavpur University’.

Unless specified, most EditPub classes will take place in the classrooms of the School of Cultural Texts and Records. These rooms are located on the top floor of the Rabindra Bhavan building (next to Darshan Bhavan), five minutes' walk from Gate No. 5 (see below)

Notice - Editing and Publishing Course Screening Test Results - Updated

Due to the large number of applications, the results of the screening test for admission to the 2018 edition of the Editing and Publishing Course will be announced on or after 30th December 2017. Admissions will take place in the first week of January. Candidates are requested to check this blog regularly.

List of Candidates for the Screening Test of the Editing and Publishing Course 2018

The candidates listed here are requested to appear for the screening test for the 2018 edition of the Post-Graduate Certificate Course in Editing and Publishing.

The test will be held on Monday, 18 December 2017, from 6 p.m.  to 7 p.m.

Location: Department of English, 1st Floor, UG Arts Building, Jadavpur University. It is the building on the left after entering through Gate No. 4 (Bus Stop: Bengal Lamp).

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the test. Bring along a photo ID card and documentary proof of your graduation. Please bring original documents and not photocopies. Candidates without these documents will not be allowed to sit for the test.

NOTICE FOR THE 15TH EDITING AND PUBLISHING COURSE

Certificate Course in Editing and Publishing

at the School of Cultural Texts and Records, Jadavpur University

Applications are invited from Honours graduates in any discipline for a PG Certificate Course in Editing and Publishing to be conducted by the School of Cultural Texts and Records, Jadavpur University, from 2 January - 19 April 2018. Classes will normally be held three days a week from 6-8 p.m. (Tue, Wed, Thu). Applicants have to appear for a screening test on 18 December 2017 (Monday), at 6 p.m., to be held on the first floor of the UG Arts Building.

Course fee: Rs 10,000.
